Watching Delaney and Reece say “I do” was such a full-circle moment for me. I’ve known these two since we were all just teenagers, and getting to capture their wedding was beyond special.

Their day at Sylvan Beach Pavilion in La Porte was nothing short of magical. Even with the heavy April rain pouring down outside, there was so much warmth and joy inside those historic walls. This venue has stood strong through hurricanes and decades of change, and it felt like the perfect place to celebrate a love that’s just as resilient.

One of my favorite parts of their day was seeing how deeply their families love them. Their friends brought so much energy too—cheering them on, wiping away happy tears, and filling the room with laughter from start to finish. You could just feel how supported and celebrated these two are by the people closest to them.

Delaney and Reece didn’t let the rain dampen a single moment. The windows overlooking the bay gave us the most dreamy, moody backdrop as they shared their vows, danced with their families, and laughed with their friends. Every detail was thoughtful, every hug felt extra meaningful, and the love in that room was undeniable.

It’s days like this that remind me why I love what I do. Getting to document these moments for people I’ve known so long is such an honor—and seeing your friends build a life together is something truly beautiful. Congratulations, Mr. and Mrs. Friedrichs.
